SLM Workshops 2011 – Brisbane Now Booking.

A series of one day workshops will be run during 2011 titled:

- The 5 Critical Steps to Successfully Treating Pain -

Starting Saturday morning at 8.30am sharp and finishing at 5.30pm, everyone is invited to attend including SLM students, other therapists and pain sufferers.

The day will cover everything you need to know about the body to be more effective at fixing pain and injury including:

  • How the body works and why it ends up in pain.

  • Different muscle conditions and what stops the pain going away.

  • Why conventional therapies struggle to fix pain.

  • Diagnosis and how to determine what treatment a pain sufferer needs and in what order.

  • Patterns of muscle imbalance that determines what pain someone feels.

  • How to adjust someone’s lifestyle to assist recovery.

  • What is needed in a self treatment program you set.

You will also be given guidance on how to set up a website and use the internet to drive business to your door.

Morning tea will be included and served at 10.30am.

Lunch is included and will be at 12.30pm.

Afternoon tea will be provided and served at 3.30pm.

The afternoon sessions will be spent providing a diagnosis for real pain sufferers and discussing a treatment program incorporating the SLM Bodywork system. (a great opportunity for pain sufferers to come along and get an accurate diagnosis of their problem and leave with good advice on how they can become pain free again.)

There will then be a late afternoon self treatment session for everyone to learn and practice exercises and techniques they can use at home to get ongoing pain relief and that therapists can use for their patients.
