acute sciatic pain treatment
« on: May 27, 2016, 07:51:23 AM »
Hi Steve
My ongoing sciatic pain has progressed to constant pain all through the lower back buttock and leg down the right side. I can no longer stand up and crutches are even painful. I am crawing. I would like mri scans done and a better pain medication. Today i might try gentle heated pool movements or do u think i should wait to get scans...after being to the hospital and discharged after receiving codiene asprin and paracetimol and being left for 3 hours to "see how that goes" and told to stretch, get massage/physio. What you think best options? Ive been eating clean no caffeine sugar white bread. Home made organic vege soup raw fruit n veg. Cheers clint

Hi Clint, spend as much time as necessary on the floor doing pressure point work on your erectors, hips and glutes and when you can do your hamstrings as well.

The water exercise is a good idea but even as simply as hanging in deep water from a noodle or similar and doing scissor action/ strides with your legs.

Cheers Steve
